About This Project

With access restricted to weekends only, this five-month project demanded meticulous planning to keep progress on track. The scope spanned multiple disciplines and covered a seven-floor building with over 140 rooms. All existing iron pipework was cut out section by section before the new copper pipework was installed, lagged and labelled with flow direction throughout. Two calorifiers were removed for refurbishment and descaling, then reconnected into the system with new pipework. At that scale, there was no room for error - and the finished installation reflected that.
