About This Project
The aluminium condenser coil on this chiller had deteriorated beyond repair. Where older copper coils could sometimes be patched on site, aluminium coils need replacing - and that is what we did. The failed coil was removed, a correct replacement sourced and fitted, and the system leak-tested and recharged to manufacturer specification. The chiller was back at full efficiency within the project window. As aluminium heat exchangers become more common across commercial and industrial plant, full coil replacement is a job we carry out regularly.
